About the SLA

• The STA. LUCIA ACADEMY, INC. is a private secondary educational institution which was founded in the year 1946. It is located at the heart of the municipality of Sta. Lucia catering to more than 2,000 learners from Grades 7 to 12 coming from its different feeder barangays of Sta. Lucia and Candon City and even from the nearby municipalities of Salcedo, Sta. Cruz, and Galimuyod. The Sta. Lucia Academy, Inc, is anchored on its core values of Academic Excellence, Moral Formation, and Community Engagement thus is true to its mission to produce learners who excel in academics, sports, talents, and skills and learners who are disciplined and active in the community. SLA is the largest private secondary school in Ilocos Sur in terms of its population. It is also considered as the biggest in number from among the six secondary schools in Sta. Lucia. It is addressed at Barangay Barangobong, Sta. Lucia Ilocos Sur and located near the Sta. Lucia Public Market. It has two campuses parallel to each other and separated by the national highway. The eastern campus houses the grades 7 to 9 learners while the western campus houses the grades 10 to 12 learners and the multi-purpose covered court. SLA offers a complete secondary curriculum: the Junior High School – Grades 7 to 10, and the Senior High School – Grades 11 and 12 offering only the Academic Track with complete strands of STEM,HUMSS, ABM, and GAS.
